Using 1Password

Choose your default identity and credit card items

Learn how to use the 1Password apps to choose which identity and payment card 1Password suggests first.
You can use 1Password to save and fill credit cards and addresses. If you have multiple Identity or Credit Card items, you can use the 1Password app to choose your preferred items. Then those items will appear at the top of the suggestions shown when you select a field to fill in your browser.

To choose a default identity and payment card in the 1Password apps:

  1. Open and unlock the 1Password app.
  2. Select Profile in the sidebar.
  3. Select Select beside “Default identity” or “Default payment card”.
  4. Choose the item you want 1Password to suggest first.

Tip

If you’ve added more than one 1Password account to the app, you can choose preferred items for each account.

  1. Open and unlock the 1Password app.
  2. Select Home, then select Profile on the Home screen.
  3. Select Select beside “Default identity” or “Default payment card”.
