Try out exploratory features in 1Password

Learn how to get early access and share your feedback about exploratory features in 1Password.
If you’d like to test features that are still in development without switching to a beta release, you can turn on exploratory features and share your feedback to help influence the future of 1Password.

Test new features

You can use the 1Password app to see what features are available to test.

  1. Open and unlock 1Password.
  2. Click your account or collection at the top of the sidebar and choose Settings.
  3. Click Labs in the sidebar to see a list of the features available for testing.

To test a feature, choose it from the list and follow the steps to turn it on.

Share your feedback

After you test a new feature, you can share your feedback with 1Password to help with development. To give us your feedback:

  1. Open the Labs settings in the 1Password app.
  2. Choose the experiment you want to share feedback on.
  3. Click or tap Give feedback.

You’ll be taken to a thread in the 1Password Support Community for the experiment. You can create an account and leave a comment in the thread to share your thoughts.
