To use some features in 1Password for iOS, you’ll need to grant it access to certain types of data:
Permission | Description |
---|---|
Photos | Save photos and videos in 1Password. |
Camera | Scan your Setup Code or QR codes to use 1Password as an authenticator for sites with two-factor authentication. Or take a photo or video to save in 1Password. |
Location | Allow 1Password to access your location to display nearby items on the Home screen in the app. |
Face ID | Unlock 1Password with Face ID. |
Notifications | Show notifications for one-time passwords on your Home screen, Lock screen, and in Notification Center. |
Background App Refresh | Keep 1Password up to date in the background, so you can access items created on other devices when you use Autofill or 1Password for Safari without opening the 1Password app. |
Cellular Data | Allow 1Password to use cellular data. |
