How to remove the 1Password classic extension from your browser

Tip

After you uninstall the 1Password classic extension, you can get 1Password in your browser to continue saving and filling your passwords.

Chrome

To remove the 1Password classic extension from Chrome:

  1. Select the Chrome menu   in the toolbar, then select Extensions > Manage Extensions.
  2. Find “1Password extension (desktop app required)”, then select Remove.

Firefox

To remove the 1Password classic extension from Firefox:

  1. Select the Firefox menu   in the toolbar, then select Add-ons and themes.
  2. Select Extensions.
  3. Find “1Password extension (desktop app required)”, then select > Remove.

Microsoft Edge

To remove the 1Password classic extension from Microsoft Edge:

  1. Select the Microsoft Edge menu   and select Extensions.
  2. Find “1Password extension (desktop app required)”, then select Remove.

  1. Select the Brave menu   in the toolbar, then select Extensions.
  2. Find “1Password extension (desktop app required)”, then select Remove.
