Open Terminal, which is in the Utilities folder of your Applications folder.
Copy and paste the following command and press Return:
sudo chown "$USER":staff ~/Library/Application\ Support/Google/Chrome/NativeMessagingHosts ~/Library/Application\ Support/Mozilla/NativeMessagingHosts
Enter the password you use to log in to your Mac and press Return. You won’t see any visual feedback when you enter each character.
If you see a “No such file or directory” message, ignore it and follow the additional steps below.
Click in the menu bar and choose Quit.
If you're using 1Password 7, choose 1Password > Quit 1Password Completely from the menu bar. If you're using 1Password 6 or earlier, hold down the Control and Option keys on your keyboard and choose 1Password > Quit 1Password and 1Password mini.
Open 1Password again.
Restart any open browsers.
