Console logs include diagnostic messages collected by your browser that help 1Password Support solve problems you may be experiencing. They do not contain your passwords or other 1Password data.
Chrome
To save a console log in Chrome:
- Reproduce the issue on 1Password.com.
- Click the Chrome menu
and choose More Tools > Developer Tools.
Get help if you can’t choose Developer Tools.
- Click the Console tab in the Developer Tools pane.
- Right-click in the console, choose Save as, and save the console log as a file on your desktop.
- Attach the file to your conversation with 1Password Support.
Firefox
To save a console log in Firefox:
- Reproduce the issue on 1Password.com.
- Click the Firefox menu and choose More tools > Browser Console.
- Right-click in the console, choose Save all Messages to File, and save the console log as a file on your desktop.
- Attach the file to your conversation with 1Password Support.
Edge
To save a console log in Microsoft Edge:
- Reproduce the issue on 1Password.com.
- Click the Microsoft Edge menu
and choose More Tools > Developer Tools.
Get help if you can’t choose Developer Tools.
- Click the Console tab in the Developer Tools pane. If you don’t see the Console tab, click and choose Console.
- Right-click in the console, choose Save as, and save the console log as a file on your desktop.
- Attach the file to your conversation with 1Password Support.
Brave
To save a console log in Brave:
- Reproduce the issue on 1Password.com.
- Click the Brave menu
and choose More Tools > Developer Tools.
Get help if you can’t choose Developer Tools.
- Click the Console tab in the Developer Tools pane.
- Right-click in the console, choose Save as, and save the console log as a file on your desktop.
- Attach the file to your conversation with 1Password Support.
Safari
If you don’t see the Develop menu in Safari, turn it on:
- Open Safari, then choose Safari > Settings or Preferences from the menu bar.
- Click the Advanced icon.
- Turn on Show features for web developers or Show Develop menu in menu bar.
To save a console log in Safari:
- Reproduce the issue on 1Password.com.
- Choose Develop > Show JavaScript Console from the menu bar.
- Click an item in the console, then press Command-A to select all the items in the console.
- Right-click in the console, choose Save Selected, and save the console log as a file on your desktop.
- Attach the file to your conversation with 1Password Support.

If you can’t choose Developer Tools in your browser and your computer is managed by your employer, contact your IT administrator. They may need to allow access to Developer Tools in your browser with the following policies:
