About the message

To communicate with 1Password for Mac, the 1Password X beta needs to verify the identity of your Chrome or Chromium-based browser.

When 1Password verifies your browser’s code signature, your information stays exactly where you expect it to: in 1Password or filled on the right page.

Chrome has an update available. Quit and restart Chrome to continue using 1Password.

What you should do

Quit and restart your browser. This will make sure that your browser has a valid code signature, so 1Password X can communicate with 1Password for Mac.
